The role of the Science and Technology (S&T-PC-Physical science) pillar within R&D is to deliver breakthrough xe2x80x9cDifferentiated Technologies, with capabilitiesxe2x80x9d to meet PC goals around the world. S&T-PC-Physical science team is focused on building future fit skills, team and talent in xe2x80x9cAdvanced Materials, Measurements delivering long lasting freshness for whole body & personalisation, Integrated with Digitalxe2x80x9d.S&T-PC-Physical science team is employing advanced materials & measurements science to deliver superior multi targeted consumer needs for odour & freshness. Teams focus is to deliver faster and cost-effective Innovations through Mechanistic understanding of actives delivering odour & freshness using xe2x80x9cComputational chemistryxe2x80x9d. The purpose is to build differentiated innovation roadmap & impactful claims by combining Volatile molecular xe2x80x93 adsorption chemistry, metal ligand interaction. To meet our purpose, we need candidate with unique combination of analytical chemistry & measurement science (GC-MS, LC-MS/MS) expertise. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to learning new digital / computational chemistry capabilities, work on their own initiative and a desire to continually develop scientific skills.Main AccountabilitiesDevelop In vitro measurement capabilities & Technology pipeline to deliver consumer benefit through materials & mechanistic insightsDrive Design of Experiments to strengthen expertise area through proof of science.Build, learn and apply skills in cheminformatics skill to led technology funnel.Build IP funnel for differentiated & exclusive consumer benefitsDelivers effective reporting of scientific data, including peer-reviewed publicationsCommunicate and work closely with global team to incorporate new technologies into productApply Growth Mind set through speed & teamworkKey SkillsAnalytical chemist with experience in measurement techniques (GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, FT-IR, NMR)Ability to establish, and apply new capabilities, and the desire and ability to collaborate and communicate across functionsBasic appreciation and knowledge in cheminformaticsBe pro-active and self-motivated to engage with project leaders and team members.Be creative.
