We are looking for a talented MEAN Stack Developer to join our growing IT & IoT department.The candidate should also have strong knowledge and experience with AWS cloud services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEAN Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience working with the MEAN stack and will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that interface with our IoT devices and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities.
• Collaborate with the IoT development team to integrate web applications with IoT devices.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of our development processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are modern and competitive.
• Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor web applications on AWS.
• Utilise AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others to support application development and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience working with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
• Experience with AWS hosting and deploying applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other front-end frameworks/libraries like React or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with IoT protocols and technologies such as MQTT, BLE, and NFC.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. What We Offer.
