MCN Co-Ordinator

Description

Performs non production activities which support the manufacturing processes in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Job Summary

  • Co-ordination with CFT for BOM changes implementation at plant level.
  • Co-ordination with CFT to conduct BOM verification.
  • Windchill & Oracle Knowledge is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Change review release forum with CFT for new/revise itemsimplementation of Alternator products.
  • Release/Create MCN in Windchill.
  • Tracking & publishing weekly pending MCN report.
  • Follow up with CFT to get the MCN implementation date status.
  • Timely resolution of MCN interfacing error.
  • Co-ordination with planning team to plan BOM hard validation of newoption release.
  • Track monthly BOM accuracy report.
  • Support on new Project related work.
  • Error resolution of items, bills and orders in Global & India R12on regular basis.
  • Regular interaction with Global Engineering, Support team members forGlobal issues.
  • Support Planning & OMCS for order related issues.
  • Support Production, Stores, Quality, Sourcing teams for item relatedsystem issues.
  • Update weekly report.
  • Identify & work on system improvement projects.
  • Conducting training and awareness session on Windchill, Oracleprocesses to employee as an when required. Conduct UAT Testing\xe2\x80\x99s in Windchill,L2D, Oracle setup.
  • Contribution in Safety initiatives and 5S.
  • Special Process Qualification.
  • Trials on development & Documentation.
  • Maintain the Shop floor equipment on time Calibration of Tools, Gauges& weighing scales.
  • New Star Number verification MBOM Vs EBOM.
  • Rising PR in the Ariba system, tracking the PO status for materialdelivery.
  • Standard operating procedure creation, updation related to shop floor processes
Skills
  • Knowledge of Windchill.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle system would be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of excel, power point & word.
  • Knowledge of Ariba System
  • Good communication & presentation skill to interact with CFT/Project team.
