Doctor Roles And Responsibilities

While doctors' specific roles and responsibilities vary depending on their specialities, some common duties are expected from all doctors. These include:

• Providing primary and specialised healthcare to patients: Doctors act as primary healthcare providers, offering general medical care to individuals seeking treatment for various illnesses or injuries. Additionally, they may specialise in specific areas such as paediatrics, cardiology, or neurology to provide specialised care.
• Educating patients about their medical conditions and treatment options: Doctors are responsible for with patients, explaining their diagnosis, treatment options, and any potential risks or side effects associated with the prescribed therapies.
• Promoting preventive healthcare measures: Doctors need to educate patients on preventive healthcare practices such as vaccinations, healthy lifestyle choices, and regular screenings to minimise the likelihood of developing illnesses.
• Adhering to ethical and legal standards: Doctors must follow ethical guidelines and legal regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality, respecting autonomy, and ensuring a high standard of care.
• Continuous professional development: Doctors must engage in ongoing learning and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and provide the best possible care.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
