Job Title: Management Trainee - Yard Operations

Reports to: Yard Manager/Operations Head

Location: Mumbai, Goa & Kolkata

Western group of Companies, is a leading shipbuilding and repair company seeking enthusiastic MBA freshers for our Yard Visit program.

Job Summary:

We're looking for highly motivated MBA freshers to join our Yard Visit program, gaining hands-on experience in shipyard operations and management. This role involves monitoring and analyzing yard activities, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Observe and report on yard operations, including production, quality control, and safety.

2. Analyze data and identify areas for improvement.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, quality).

4. Develop and present reports and recommendations.

5. Assist in implementing process improvements.

6. Interact with vendors and clients.

7. Gain understanding of shipbuilding/repair processes.

Requirements:

1. MBA (Freshers) in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.

2. 0-1 year experience.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

6. Willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of shipbuilding/repair industry.

2. Familiarity with operations management principles.

3. Certification in quality management or six sigma.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
