It Includes any type of material not conforming to specifications (including order non-conformance such as late or otherwise improper delivery); company business rules determine the definition of \xe2\x80\x98defective\xe2\x80\x99 or \xc2\xb4excess\xc2\xb4. The physical disposition of the material may not be part of the return process.
Manage Raw Material Inventory The process of establishing and maintaining physical inventories and inventory information. This includes warehouse management, cycle counting, physical inventories and inventory reconciliation. Perform 3rd party warehouse stock accuary management Maintain & optimize expired material / slow material / obsoletes (for raw material) Perform material shortage & allocation management process (MSM) SCM processes in Product Termination Notification and Product Change Notificaition process (PTN/PCN) Manage Sourcing Agreements \'\xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying the necessary materials and issuing purchase orders. Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and min safety stock levels. Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions. Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries Report analysis & updates (Coverage, Forecast, Projections, Supplier Overdue, supplier over shipment / qty) Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule. Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production. Co-ordinate with Engg & Project team for any engg changes & new project. Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit. Coordinate with other departments on production objectives, schedules, supplier payments, etc

Allocation Management Working closely together with the supplier allocation team as well as sales, planning, production, plant logistics, VT O SCM, purchasing e.g. in order to stabilize and improve the actual situation! Based on the supplier delivery performance KPIs and respective global demands the allocation manager has to decide about the necessity to change suppliers production planning and/or production loading. Point of escalation for all affected Vitesco Technologies plants to cope with raw material based supply bottlenecks Decision maker to allocate limited material supply in-between Vitesco Technologies plants in close cooperation with supplier. Responsible to arrange premium freights such as CTC, handcarry, e.g.! Interface between all affected Vitesco Technologies plants and supplier to ensure that demand versus supply is balanced Develop preventive tools to avoid any line-down in our factories due material shortage Work extensively with the SAP/ERP system to analyze material needs and preferred suppliers (possible 2nd sources) of manufacturing locations worldwide. Monitor released schedules and evaluate installed capacity of supplier accordingly Support sourcing and project teams to implement possible alternative suppliers Work with purchasing and operations to drive cycle time improvement on supplier side to meet VTs production schedules Monitoring closely WIP status during suppliers whole chain and escalate deviations immediately to the affected plants and BU`s Ensure that `Vitesco Technologies will be taken as suppliers Nr. 1 customer! Perform data analysis and reporting using BW, SAP, ECDM systems Arrange and lead necessary conf. calls between the effected parties. Ensure that global allocation process for PAF, LDAN and Red Alert will be used by all affected parties. Create and use a PAF (plant allocation file) including conversion factors (e.g. at PCB`s pcs. \xe2\x80\x93 sqm) to get most efficient planning and production output. Ensure that everyone will follow strictly the common agreed global MSM/Allocation process and Tools.
