1. Position Details:

• Title: Material Planner - 2024-9684
• Location: Savli
• Reports to: Utpal Prajapati

2. Requirements:

• Any Graduate BSc, BCom with Supply chain management / Professional course.
• 5-6 Years of Overall Experience.
• Experience from Paints, Pharmaceuticals & Chemical industry

3. Key Accountabilities:

• Understanding the requirement of packing material and raw material based on MPS planning.
• Sharing monthly schedule to vendor along with purchase orders in advance of production requirement.
• Ensuring suppliers to acknowledge the PO and adhere to the delivery dates
• Timely update to MPS team along with delivery dates of respective RM. Inform in advance in case of delays.
• Follow up with vendors for delivery of planned Packing materials as per MPS requirement.
• Escalate to vendor top management in case of delivery failure along with buyer and take necessary containment actions.
• Arrange meeting with vendors for any major issues (e.g. delivery, quality ) along with CFT.
• Sharing orders to intercompany (Europe, USA, Brazil etc) plants for the rolling months requirement based on forecast and past consumptions pattern.
• Coordination with intercompany plants for timely dispatches of RM in order to avoid shortages in future.
• Resolving any issues/queries of intercompany plants regarding order and quantity.
• Track and update to MPS team about in transit shipments delivery date with the help logistics team and CHA.
• Anticipate delays of arrival in imported RMs and involving global supply chain leaders to resolve the same.
• Support technology team to estimate cost of RM for any intercompany plant.
• Check RM availability for any rush/Adhoc orders to support business.
• Maintain monthly Inventory target as per business guidelines for both RM & PM.
