The role involves evaluating material properties such as strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, and analyzing material specifications. Responsibilities include conducting failure analysis, recommending improvements in material choices, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to meet product requirements and performance standards. The position also supports Material Deviation requests and stays updated on material innovations, sustainability, and evolving industry standards to enhance product quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
