• Construction and Repair: Execute various masonry tasks including but not limited to building walls, partitions, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones. Conduct repairs on existing masonry work as needed to ensure structural integrity.
• Tile Installation: Proficiently install and repair tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces throughout the hotel premises. Ensure precision and attention to detail to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Concrete Work: Prepare and lay concrete for foundations, sidewalks, and other structural elements following established procedures and safety guidelines. Smooth and finish concrete surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintenance and Restoration: Perform routine maintenance checks on masonry structures to identify and address any signs of damage or deterioration. Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement restoration plans when necessary.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while carrying out masonry work. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Material Management: Manage inventory of masonry materials and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Coordinate with procurement staff to procure necessary supplies in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason in a similar hospitality or construction environment.
• Proficiency in various masonry techniques including bricklaying, tile installation, and concrete work.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately execute masonry projects.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to masonry work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
