Our professionals are at the center of the world's financial markets, providing liquidity, insights and analytics, competitive pricing across the full spectrum of asset classes - all focused on helping clients outperform their benchmarks.As a member of the Markets Asset Servicing Operations Income team, you would need to provide centralized asset servicing support across multiple products like across Prime Services, Equities and Fixed Income supporting collection / payment of income events with client / counterparties / Depo across EMEA / WHEM Markets.Job Responsibilities:As a Team Lead in the Markets Asset Servicing team, you are responsible for Income events across EMEA / WHEM markets. You\'ll be responsible for the operational management and control of the daily workflow within Asset Servicing, as well as Corporate Action and Income Activities. We liaise closely with a large number of other groups across the firm, including trading desks, middle office and finance teams. This interaction enables employees to gain an insight into other operations and obtain a high level knowledge of the diverse range of the J.P. Morgan products.Manage Business, Process & Stakeholders

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of Depot Reconciliation, Income events, collection / payment of claims, timely reconciliation Cash & Wash accounts across our Fixed Income / Equity and Prime Business.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including trading desks, sales, finance and other operations team for exception management.
  • Work in partnership with clients, custodians, agents, Depo to resolve Breaks.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients / internal stakeholder for all escalations and ensure adequate coverage by service teams
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Process Indicators (KRIs) in a proactive way
  • Escalate production-related issues, ensuring continuity of service while simultaneously managing effective resolution with key stakeholders
  • Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients, and customers
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the functions managed
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with Senior Management & escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Drive process improvement / automation initiatives
Manage Risk
  • Perform periodic end to end process review, identify gaps if any & collaborate with control partners and relevant stakeholders to remediate process gaps
  • Drive automation of new and existing processes using firm wide process transformation tools to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, improve controls, drive client experience
  • Maintain documented procedures and ensure adherence to and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirement
  • Act as a subject matter expert on procedural matters, and be the funnel for communication with the global teams
Manage Client
  • Deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients/stakeholders
  • Manage Escalations proactively and build rapport with clients.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Financial Services background within Custody or Investment Bank environment with 4+yrs of experience in Asset Servicing / Securities Operations background.
  • Flexibility to work in Shifts as per business requirement
  • Knowledge of MT202,MT103, SPO set up, Nostro Reconciliation.
  • Working Knowledge in DTCC & Euroclear Markets
  • Knowledge of 3rd party claims matching will be an added advantage.
  • Good Inter-personal and relationship management skills
  • Experience in data transformation tools, such as Alteryx and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, or other equivalent tools)
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, writing, organization, and time management skills
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues

Preferred Certifications, and Technical Skills:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
