Job description
We are looking for an experienced Marketplace Manager to join our e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our online marketplace operations at amazon, flipkart, ebay.com etc, including listings, promotions, sales strategies, performance marketing and vendor relations, to maximize our product visibility and sales across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Marketplace Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for various online marketplaces that align with the company's overall e-commerce objectives.
• Product Listings: Manage product listings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimization across all platforms. This includes pricing, descriptions, images, and keywords.
• Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics, such as sales trends, customer reviews, and competitive data, to adjust strategies and improve sales results.
• Promotional Campaigns: Design and implement promotional campaigns within marketplace platforms to increase product visibility and sales.
• Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with marketplace vendors and explore new opportunities for partnership and expansion.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all marketplace activities comply with the legal and procedural standards of each platform.
• Customer Service: Oversee customer service for marketplace operations, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and handling escalations when necessary.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with the supply chain and inventory teams to ensure adequate product availability.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, IT, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration and consistency in the company's online presence.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketplace management, e-commerce, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of major e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to gather and interpret data.
• Proficient in using e-commerce tools and software, including ERP systems and marketplace analytics tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
