:About Marketing
The Marketing Department plays a vital role in promoting the Axis Brand and building scale for subsidiaries. The Key role of the marketing function is to influence consumer behavior & help the various businesses of the bank achieve their business goals by developing a cohesive brand & marketing strategy that drives awareness, affinity & therefore consideration for Brand Axis. Marketing department is also the custodian of Brand Axis, (i.e.) What does the Brand stand for, Our Brand Philosophy etc. .About the RoleWhy does the role exist?
The role is to create awareness, drive customer engagement and contribute to value and volume growth for Cards- Credit, Debit, Cobrand etc. The role will play a role in enhancing the overall Axis Bank brand image, increase product category awareness and driving customer acquisition and retention by creating marketing plans that align with the business objectives.Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business, competition, target audiences and build rich campaign insights that can create effective marketing campaigns and contribute to business growth.
  • Partner with various agencies & internal designers -- creative, digital and campaign management for developing effective communication and seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Execute campaigns to drive awareness, spends, engagement, and upsell/ cross sell for Cards & Value-added products
  • Create & Execute campaigns across all external media i.e. Outdoor, Print, Digital & Social media and D2C. And, leverage internal assets Mobile App, Internet Banking, Branches, ATM, Sales Enablers etc.
  • Leverage partnerships/ alliances and manage external partners and their channels.
  • Work cohesively and build relations with partner agencies across advertising and media. Work with in-house designers to deliver tactical campaigns.
  • Track and monitor effectiveness of campaigns across mediums and present performance and learnings to management periodically
  • Ensure consistency in communication across all touchpoints, while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines in all communications
  • Stay updated on industry/ market trends, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges. Conduct regular competitor analysis to benchmark the category products and marketing strategies against industry standards
Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
  • MBA in Marketing from a Premier B School/Graduate of Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing marketing campaigns
  • Expertise across email marketing, digital, and Go-To-Market launches
Role Proficiencies:
For successful execution of the job, a candidate should possess the following:
  • Knowledge
BTL Marketing, Creative Development, Go To Market planning
Knowledge of financial products and related consumer behavior
  • Skills
Good communication and presentation skill
Should be high on creative sensibility with an ability to write creative content and guide agencies to produce high quality digital collaterals
Ability to work effectively across functions with agility
