In this role, youll collaborate with marketing and other stakeholder teams to measure KPIs, develop dashboards and reports, write analytics requirements that align with goals, analyze prospect and client behavior, and make recommendations for optimization.
As Marketing Operations Analyst your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you understand how data science fits in the big picture of a project. Of the five sub-disciplines of Marketing Science - tracking and measurement, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, and statistical modeling - you are a rockstar in at least two. Most importantly, youve got a solid understanding of how they all fit into a project, and youre looking to hone your craft in areas youre unfamiliar with. As Marketing Operations Analyst, you will work closely with our partners across the marketing team to measure and improve our ability to acquire, activate, and retain clients. You will be working across all paid marketing channels and in a wide range of marketing domains, using analytical tools and techniques to tackle the challenges LRN currently face. You will collaborate with senior team members to deliver analytics projects from scope and problem formulation to final recommendations and implementation. Focus areas include data mining, client segmentation, predictive analytics, and the transformation of data into insights and business recommendations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical skillset along with intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mentality. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to:
Analyze and present digital marketing data to understand performance and make recommendations to business stakeholders
Work with business leads to effectively track KPIs and help inform strategy of cross-functional teams
Support analytics tools trainings and facilitate adoption of marketing measurement tools
Ensure new site features and templates are aligned with tracking best practices; write, document, and QA analytics tracking requirements for new site enhancements
Implement web and advertising pixels via tag management system
Manage the end-to-end marketing analytics tracking
Design and lead the implementation of measurement solutions to support and improve single view of marketing performance data
Be responsible for managing, organizing, and presenting data in clear, concise, and actionable format for a variety of internal leadership audiences
Design and conduct analyses and build reports to provide insights that help us understand marketing performance and craft marketing strategies across channels
Develop formalized processes to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and empower informed decision making for stakeholders
Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate test within marketing campaign ecosystems
Monitor and analyze data reports/dashboards/pipelines and troubleshoot issues that arise
Support the execution of analytic solutions including campaign analysis, segmentation schemes, dashboards, and ad-hoc data requests
Requirements
BA or BS focus in Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, Finance, or Economics
1-2 years digital analytics experience
Familiarity with web analytics implementation and reporting
Familiarity with digital marketing activities and key metrics across web, email, social, advertising, search, etc.
Strong analytical and communications skills - ability to distill complex data sets into clear story lines for stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Site tagging and tag management experience (e.g., Google Tag Manager)
Experience with analyzing data and building reports in HubSpot and Salesforce
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as DOMO, PowerBI, or Tableau
Experience in developing analytics tagging architectures, creating technical specification documents
Experience in experimental design and measurement
Experience working in high growth, performance focused environments
