Position title Marketing Manager - Apparel Reports to Lead - Apparel Marketing Job grade Manager Location Gurgaon Job Purpose Manager - Marketing for Apparel Business will be responsible for leading development and execution of marketing strategy for Apparel, improving brand awareness, leading the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and work in close collaboration with the Sales, Service, Global Brand teams for implementation of marketing initiatives for India & IB markets. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for annual marketing plan for Apparel, while keeping in view the target customer segments [existing and prospects], marketing budget and overall business plan
Lead the design of marketing programs & campaigns across ATL/BTL & direct channels while keeping in view the demographics, preferences, purchasing behavior, styles etc. of the target customer segments and leverage analytics to drive call-to-action
Define the media plan and channel strategy for all campaigns and obtain necessary inputs and sign-offs from various stakeholders in order to launch/run the campaigns
Work closely with the business leads to formulate and lead targeted marketing programs as per the calendar to ensure smooth execution in order to execute new product launches, expand the reach and increase conversion and maximize the revenue per customer
Providing inputs basis internal & research data, to the business head for defining the size of opportunity based on analysis of target customer data and maximizing the conversion across the funnel through targeted marketing initiatives
Lead a team of highly effective marketers and work cross-functionally with design, product, sales
Drive local Public Relations and influencer engagement strategy in order to build brand strength and advocacy while ensuring alignment with the overall PR strategy
Work closely with Digital marketing team for online marketing initiatives
Stay aware of all the marketing content initiatives to ensure brand consistency and highlight in case of diversion; Stay up to date on new developments in the content world to drive inputs for content strategy as and when needed
Active involvement in executing the content strategy to drive high engagement
Manage adaptation and distribution of the content on all required touch-points
Manage the content agency, ensure deliverables as per timelines
Work Experience Education
Essential - Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (Full Time) - Marketing , Communications or related streams
Preferred - Masters in Business Administration (MBA) - Marketing /Advertising /Communications
Experience
5 - 15 years experience
Experience of implementing market/customer segmentation strategy and communication/micro-marketing/direct marketing programs for brands largely built through word-of-mouth advocacy and influencer engagement
Extensive experience in marketing including brand & product positioning, pricing,promotions & experiential events, market research, sales and distribution
Good understanding of our target audiences and the insightful triggers & barriers that govern their usage/purchase behavior, and the working knowledge of brand/ sub-brand marketing
