This role requires developing and overseeing marketing campaigns to promote products and services. The role of a Marketing Manager encompasses creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities: - Should co-ordinate with marketing teams globally and share insights with sales about what is happening globally and also suggest products which can be replicated in India. - Should design communication tools to be shared with customers/distributors when - New products are launched - Any specific days/festivals are coming, like World Coffee Day, Republic Day etc. - To collate data and prepare PPT on New Global/Regional/National trends, categories which could then be shared with customers. - To work on recipes with BIMs to be circulated with customers and also create a Recipe Data Bank. - To co-ordinate with various Hotel Management Schools and arrange for training sessions. - To work closely with Celebrity bartenders and work on various online and offline marketing campaigns - Analyse customer demographics, research competitors and market trends. - To organize events and exhibitions. - Updating databases and using customer relationship management (CRM) system. - Managing campaigns on various social media platforms and promoting products. - Plan for Marketing Material to be shared with customers, like, Aprons, Bar Kits, recipe booklets, brochures etc. KRA: - Develop marketing plans and ideas for India in line with direction of the company and brand. - Work closely with the commercial team to develop and manage market well with respect to marketing. - Manage external agencies and suppliers with the company on ongoing projects and campaigns with measurable KPIs and results. - Responsible for monthly marketing reports and updates internally and externally to key stakeholders - Visiting market and identifying key challenges and gaps to find effective solutions within the scope of marketing. - Identifying consumer trends relative to the brand and keeping track of competition activities. - Drive marketing content and communications across key platforms with focus on digital alignment. - Manage and track marketing spend and budgets closely on a year-to-year basis, - Manage communications/PR and ensure brand message is consistent throughout all platforms. - Drive opportunities with relevant media, both print and digital, to increase awareness for the brand within key stakeholders. - Analyse market scenarios and identify opportunities within India to drive branding and support sales initiatives. - Support commercial team and distributors with the right tools and materials for organised events such as trainings, competitions, influencer tours, partnerships with bars and cafes, restaurants etc. - Ensure that all marketing materials, POSMs, content, tools and all related deliverables needed by distributors and commercial team is delivered on time and in full. - Train and guide commercial team and distributors on brand guidelines with respective initiatives in line with the company and brand direction. - Analyse performance of each new product launch, promotional/ co-branded program and derive learning from it, in collaboration with Sales teams Key Skills: - Have proper understanding of target markets, channels, consumer behaviour, trends, within each market to plan and implement suitable programme in each respective channels (bar, coffee, retail) to drive sales. - Understand global brand, sales and business direction to be able to translate that into trade marketing initiatives and responsibilities. - Strong commercial outlook and marketing sense. - Proactive and creative on all marketing mix elements. - A strong team player who works well with everyone across departments. - Good command of English both written and spoken. - Ability to develop presentations and present ideas and plans well. - Good time and project management skills. - Good listener and proactive in their work to be hands-on on the job. - Positive attitude towards work and peers. - Good communication skills. - Minimum 3 years experience in marketing/sales/trade fields within F&B, HORECA and/or Retail industry. Requirements: - Proven experience as Marketing Manager or similar role - Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods - Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices - Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM) - Familiarity with social media and web analytics - Experience with a Food Service/ is an added advantage - Excellent communication and people skills - Strong organizational and time-management abilities - Creativity and commercial awareness Educational Qualification and Experience: - Preferably MBA in Marketing/Graduates can also apply Minimum 1-2 years of experience
