Position Summary -

This role leads the BCC core portfolio \xe2\x80\x93 which is the largest pillar of K-C business in India. The Huggies brand is a substantial business (2023: ~1250 Cr in retail price terms) & as part of globally identified priorities has clear plans to scale up further over the next 3 years. This role will focus on driving initiatives on the Core BCC portfolio across \xe2\x80\x93 Equity, Innovation & Activation.

On Equity, the incumbent will lead development of advertising & brand specific communication initiatives. On Innovation, the incumbent will be responsible for leading conceptualization of the core innovation/renovation agenda, & partner with P&TD lead to bring product innovation to life. The role will be accountable for end-to-end conceptualization, business case building, stakeholder alignment, marketing mix creation including product, concept, packaging, PPA & collaborating on go-to-market execution. The candidate will also be responsible for conceptualizing, creating & executing brand activation strategies across the spectrum of channels & consumer interfaces.

This role involves wide collaboration across stakeholders locally & regionally to conceive, drive business planning & execution.

Key Accountabilities -

1) Strategic initiatives to drive growth & market share objectives

Work on strategic drivers to drive growth & market share objectives.

Lead the conceptualization & creation Annual Operating Plan for the brand collaborating with key stakeholders across functions.

Lead specific & partner on project specific across spectrum of specific focus initiatives designed to unlock growth & margin.

2) Communication & Media

Lead brand concept development in close working with consumers & regional teams.

Work in collaboration with agencies to develop & execute 360 brand communication including TV Advertising & cross media assets.

Collaborate with digital teams & agencies to drive brand communication & engagement plans on digital platforms.

Lead the Media mandate for BCC portfolio in partnership with Media agency \xe2\x80\x93 including annual planning, monthly media planning & review, partnership with agency to drive efficiency & impact.

Lead Packaging development & execution in collaboration with agencies in close working with consumers & other relevant stakeholders.

3) Innovation / Renovation on Core

Lead business critical & strategic innovation/renovation projects on core portfolio in partnership with P&TD teams.

Responsible for conceptualization of innovation routes based on strong consumer & business insight, regional learnings & competitive dynamics.

Work multi-functionally to build business logic & case for the projects.

Ensure wide stakeholder alignment & approval for the project.

Lead full scale marketing mix creation including product, concept, packaging, Price Pack Architecture & communication.

Own Project management to execute the project with periodic reviews & gates.

Collaborate with sales function to make go-to-market plans & execution.

Review project progress & make plans for continuous improvement.

Lead & drive active brand management to achieve consumer objectives, growth & share objectives.

4) Pricing, Price-Pack Architecture, Revenue Management

Make brand pricing recommendations to achieve business gaols in collaboration with stakeholders across sales & finance.

Work with consumers & customers to evolve pricing recommendation with best outcomes for the business.

Bring Revenue management focus across vectors & lead specific projects.

Continuously review & evolve price-pack architecture \xe2\x80\x93 proactively & reactively depending on market & consumer context.

5) Brand Activation

Lead the core brand team & drive agenda to explore, identify & drive key partnerships with influencers, key influencer portals & other partners.

Build brand credentialing & visibility amongst target consumers by conceptualizing & executing specific programs.

Build a comprehensive POME strategy including clear activation priorities & plans & lead the brand activation team to execute with excellence & impact.

6) Collaborate with regional teams & agency partners.

Lead brand concept, communication, packaging development & other key brand priorities in close working with regional marketing teams.

Work in collaboration with multiple agencies including media, digital & market research agencies including strategic partners like Nielsen, Kantar & Ipsos.

7) Steer Ecommerce business as part of the Ecom Leadership Team (ELT)

Lead brand/category agendas in the fast growing & profitable channel of Ecommerce, as part of the Ecom Leadership team.

Work in collaboration with multi-functional team that sets strategic objectives & shapes outcomes with agility, responsibility & accountability \xe2\x80\x93 to grow & gain share in this priority channel.

Key Stakeholders -

Collaboration across multi-functional stakeholders including ILT, Category Head, Regional teams, Sales leadership teams, ELT, Digital teams, Trade marketing, Finance, Logistics, Supply Planning to lead & execute business projects.

Manage and coordinate with multiple agencies for conceptualizing & executing marketing activities - ensuring quality & speed to execution on time.

Collaborate with Regional stake-holders multi-functionally as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience \xe2\x80\x93

Degree in Business Management in Marketing with 7-8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience \xe2\x80\x93 with exposure to marketing roles in leading companies.

Candidates from MNC FMCG companies preferred.

The ideal incumbent should:

Have strong interpersonal skills, analytical rigor with drive to achieve transformational results.

Have clear consumer & customer orientation and the ability to influence with/without authority.

Be an effective people manager, with ability to groom talent \xe2\x80\x93 as this is a team manager role with Sr Brand Managers reporting in.
