As a Marketing Communications Trainee, you will play a vital role within our global marketing communications team, reporting to APAC Marketing Manager.



Your key responsibilities range from supporting the Marketing Manager in creating compelling marketing materials for distribution to customers and external stakeholders, develop marketing research reports of the region and coordination of events and tradeshows and more.



This is a hands-on role will involve crafting newsletters, presentations, brochures, white papers, email campaigns, and engaging social media posts tailored to the region's audience.



In addition, you will need to work with and provide support to our product, sales, and service teams.
Duties & Responsibilities


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to devise and execute region-specific marketing communication strategies.
• Create, manage, and maintain a diverse range of marketing collateral, including newsletters, presentations, brochures, white papers, email campaigns, and social media content, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and messaging.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics in the Aviation, Ports & Borders, Defense, and Urban Security sectors to develop marketing reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and service, to understand their communication needs and provide tailored support.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing communications efforts, using data and insights to refine strategies and materials.
• Assist in the organisation and coordination of events, trade shows, and webinars, ensuring all promotional materials are prepared and aligned with event objectives.
The Individual


Skills and Experience:


• Minimum bachelor's degree in marketing, Mass Communication, Business, International Business or Commerce, from Tier 1 University.
• 1-2 years' experience in similar role.
• Superior organisational, analytical, interpretation and problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Fluent in English with excellent copy writing skills.
• Able to gather and analyse information expeditiously and then develop compelling, insightful recommendations, presenting them in an executive summary.
• Ability to work proactively, independently, taking ownership of projects, whilst also working collaboratively sourcing information from cross-functional teams.
• Developed stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships quickly.
• Good to have - graphic design skills to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of marketing materials, including infographics, illustrations, and other design elements.
