Roles and Responsibilities of a Marketing & Sales Executive



A

Marketing & Sales Executive

plays a crucial role in driving business growth by promoting products, generating leads, and closing sales. They work on both strategic marketing initiatives and direct sales efforts to increase revenue and brand awareness.

1. Sales & Business Development



Identify and approach potential customers to generate leads. Pitch products and services to individual and corporate clients. Close deals and achieve sales targets. Maintain relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.

2. Marketing Strategy & Execution



Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, offline, B2B). Assist in creating content for social media, email marketing, and advertisements. Plan and participate in promotional events, trade shows, and exhibitions. Optimize marketing efforts based on analytics and customer feedback.

3. Lead Generation & Conversion



Generate high-quality leads through cold calling, networking, and digital marketing. Follow up on inquiries and nurture potential customers through the sales funnel. Convert leads into customers through persuasive communication and negotiation.

4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis



Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and business opportunities. Analyze competitors' strategies to refine marketing and sales approaches. Suggest improvements to product offerings based on customer insights.

5. Digital Marketing & Online Sales Support



Manage and update the company website and e-commerce platforms. Optimize product listings on marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, company website, etc.). Run online ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads) to drive traffic and sales.

6. Client Relationship Management



Build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention. Provide after-sales support and resolve customer concerns. Develop customized solutions for corporate clients and B2B partners.

7. Reporting & Performance Tracking



Track sales metrics, campaign performance, and customer feedback. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales progress. Present insights and recommendations to improve sales and marketing efforts.
