We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Lead to join our team at Zendesk. As the Marketing Analytics Lead, you will play a crucial role in improving our marketing team's ability to make data-driven decisions using our analytics resources.
What you'll be doing• Improve the marketing team's ability to effectively use data in their roles by leading training sessions and workshops, encouraging a data-driven approach.
• Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and resources related to marketing analytics tools and methods.
• Promote the significance of incorporating data-driven practices in marketing, showcasing how analytics can improve marketing performance and outcomes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in marketing analytics, recommending investments and initiatives that drive competitive advantage.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand their data and analytics needs, translating them into technical requirements for implementation.
• Build a collaborative environment that fosters the sharing of insights and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Improve efficiency and productivity within the marketing team by simplifying analytics workflows and processes.
• Develop effective strategies for analytics reporting, data visualization, and sharing insights.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of marketing data.
• Lead data quality initiatives, identifying and addressing gaps in data capture and storage.
What you bring to the role• 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, customer success, customer enablement, or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on data analytics enablement and operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytics concepts to individuals without technical backgrounds.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
• Thorough knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
