Job Description


We are currently seeking a highly capable individual with exceptional multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and a positive demeanor to join our team as a marketing administrator, supporting the marketing leadership and team of NTT DATA.

The tasks include efficiently handling office tasks, delivering polite and proficient support through various communication channels such as phone, email, and mail, as well as making travel arrangements and reservations. The administrator will play a crucial role in cultivating a helpful and optimistic work environment.

Proficiency in computer skills, general office tasks, and exceptional verbal and written communication are key attributes for this role.

Duties of the Marketing Administrator:

  • Perform office tasks such setting up meetings.
  • Provide real-time scheduling support by managing appointments and preventing scheduling conflicts.
  • Arrange travel accommodations including flights, car rentals, and hotel and restaurant reservations.
  • Managing expense reports, preparing and submitting expenses on behalf of the marketing VP
  • Utilize computer applications to generate reports, transcribe meeting minutes, create presentations, update organization charts, contact lists, event support and team building.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain courteous and professional communication through phone, email, and mail.
  • Anticipate the needs of others to ensure a seamless and positive experience.

This marketing administrator will support the marketing leadership and team of NTT DATA. This position will also support the marketing team procuring items necessary to run the business and maintaining a contract database. The person will gain an understanding of the marketing department and NTT DATA leading to a wide range of opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate would enjoy working with people, multi-tasking, learning new skills and supporting a team.

The position is Part-time remote, work-from-home, with expectations to come to office when in-person meetings take place, typically two days a week, in Bangalore. The position supports both the VP of Marketing in India and the VP of Marketing Operations in the US but may also support additional US leaders. The candidate should be prepared to work some evening hours for virtual communication with US teams and leaders. The position reports to the VP of Marketing Operations.

Skills Required:
  • Strong communication skills in English are required
  • University Degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office and remote meeting skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Zoom
  • Knowledge of budgeting
  • Working on teams and individually
  • Remote work - ability to build a time schedule using both IST and US working day hours
  • Some Evening hour availability for US communications
  • Administrative experience supporting an executive leader or similar experience required

Preferred skills and experience:
  • Familiarity and interest in budgeting and procurement
  • Experience with Ariba for procurement
  • Experience in SAP Concur for expense management
