Key Responsibilities:

1. Apply paint and coatings to ships' hulls, superstructures, and other surfaces.

2. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.

3. Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes.

4. Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.

5. Use specialized equipment, such as spray guns, rollers, and brushes.

6. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

7. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as welders and carpenters.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience as a marine ship painter.

2. Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

3. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.

4. Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.

5. High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certification in marine ship painting or a related trade.

2. Experience with specialized painting equipment, such as airless sprayers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
