Role : Vaule Stream Leader

Job Purpose

Value Stream Leader is a critical, hands-on management role who lead and integrate the efforts of designated lines/areas operating teams across multiple shifts to ensure that quality products are manufactured safely and in hygienic conditions, cost effectively to meet customers service requirements on an ongoing basis. He/she is expected to facilitate, co-ordinate, prioritize and communicate operational activities for the lines in order to achieve the KPIs relevant to the assigned value steam. He/she manages and develops his/her team to foster a high level of team engagement.

This role is a co-pilot for the VSM and acts as his/her backup

Key Responsibilities

Responsible to provide leadership and motivation by creating an engaging, collaborative and safe working environment for line\xe2\x80\x99s associates, and contractors, as well as the wider supply associates which support the factory e.g. Maintenance, Engineering , Supply Chain, Q&FS , PPTS , etc., in day to day operations via CP2/3 anchoring and CP4/5 contributions

Help SM Develop high quality PDP\xe2\x80\x99s for all associates

Responsible for efficient and effective management of his/her VS lines within cost and quality goals so that the desired customer demand can be met within targeted service levels, lead times and responsiveness

Act as the value stream spoc for all activities related to his/her lines

Responsible to support the VSM in the execution of the FAB in his/her lines

He/she will ensure the delivery of the operating plan and process improvements in managing relevant KPI\xe2\x80\x99s in his/her value stream in support of delivering the factor\xe2\x80\x99s FAB, Operating plan and key strategic projects.

Anchor the Functional discussion led by VSM focused on Safety, Quality, Cost and Efficiency and accountable for ensuring compliance to actions with SM group

Manage and measure periodic performance of his/her lines in order to deliver the agreed KPI\xe2\x80\x99s in terms of PCC, quality & food safety, customer service, safety & environment and case fill .

Accountable to lead BDE, Process failure gap analysis with SM, AA and MM on a weekly basis to develop systematic actions

Responsible to NAPS to MTT cycle

Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies in his/her lines.

Coordinate the priorities of his/her VS to all shifts and align them with other VS and supply support functions

Manage the scheduling within his/her VS and ensures proper execution of production plan across all shifts

Manage the costs related to production (labor, contractors, and consumables, production overheads, etc....) to reach the planned targets to ensure completive conversion cost by keeping a regular track of the above mentioned and do periodic gap analysis and action planning .

Be part of all continuous improvement programs in his/her lines along with CI tech

Promote MSE and make sure that its part of the working culture

Proper control and follow up on the idea generation system , especially for plant KPIs

Lead FMOS, PPM & Datalyzer improvements that enables the team to measure and manage the KPIs of agreed contracted deliveries for safety, quality/food safety, cost, customers\' service and SAP related KPIs.

Responsible for effectivness of FMOS system in his/her VS and actively contributes to meeting/forums assigned to be attended

Escalate and provide clear communication of operational issues (in addition to following escalation standard for Q&FS and Safety). Ensure proper involvement of VSM

Ensure disciplinary matters are dealt in accordance to the company policies and procedures.

Work closely with other Shift Team Leaders and shift team members to ensure consistent performance and standardization in practices across the shifts

Work closely with VSM and Site Technical Trainer to ensure the team has the required capability, competency and attitude to succeed in delivering the team or areas objectives.

Lead the execution in SAP/PDLS within the VS to ensure the team\xe2\x80\x99s adherence to ways of work in converting the raw and packaging materials into semi-finished/finished goods as per the process orders with timely management of physical inventory, actual consumption, rework and scrap that match the data in the system within the VS. Manage system outage and exceptions according to the guidelines provided.

Deploy PUN\xe2\x80\x99s A:C roadmap as per the predetermined targets

Oversee the operational and non-operational activities in the factory as Emergency Manager who assesses the risks of the work, ensures all safety precautions applied using TRM and TRA processes. Ensures zero misses in Change management system

Backup for the VSM in case of his absence

Job Specifications/Qualifications

1. Education & Professional Qualification

Engineering, with a previous exposure to a food-manufacturing environment having at least 7 years of operations experience as a must

2. Knowledge/Experience

Minimum 2 years in manufacturing industries with good experience in managing direct reports

Familiar with desktop tools (Outlook, Excel, Power point, Atlas, etc.)

English language is a must
