About the job
The Production Manager defines and leads the contribution of Production teams to ensure the Factory delivers superior products at the right cost and on time. He/she contributes to and execute the Factory Strategic Choices & Masterplan. He/she drives Damaway (Danone Management Way) Implementation and coaches the Production Teams towards Operational Excellence through Best Practices and Manufacturing Standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• SAFETY
• Use the WISE methodology to develop a zero risk operating culture and guarantee a safe environment
• QUALITY
• Secure Product Superiority through minimized product variability and spec consistency using Q&FS guidelines including GMP, GHP etc
• Ensure the implementation of Innovation Projects respecting agreed lead time and product specifications (First Time Right)
• COST
• Lead the process for organizing, controlling and utilizing all resources, human and materials to maximize achievement of the Masterplan for his/ her area within prescribed timescales
• DELIVERY
• Set the Yearly and Quarterly Action Plans required to deliver the Factory Strategic Choices and Master Plans
• Develop & Implement Damaway through Best Practices and Manufacturing Standards
• Apply Lean & Six Sigma methodology to accelerate Performance Rate of Improvement

- Deliver the Productivity projects identified - Use internal & external benchmarks to drive continued improvements

• Lead Damaway/ TPM Autonomous Maintenance pillar
• MOTIVATION
• Lead large hierarchical / cross-functional teams according to CODE and Proximity Management principles
• Strengthen the Production Teams by creating cells structure and foster proximity leadership
• Develop talented Team Leaders who can further grow within Danone
• ENVIRONMENTAL

• Build and implement action plans to reduce the site environmental impact for his/her area
