Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Layout Designer to create efficient and compliant layouts for both our temporary and permanent factory setups. This role requires a candidate with experience in factory layout design, who can utilize existing layouts to draft optimized and functional designs. The project involves a 60-day timeline: 30 days for the temporary factory layout and 30 days for the permanent layout.

Required Skills:

• Factory Layout Design Experience:
• Proven experience in drafting factory layouts that optimize space, streamline workflow, and meet operational requirements.
• CAD Software Proficiency:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for precise layout designs and modifications.
• Lean Manufacturing & Process Optimization: •(Optional) •
• Ability to incorporate lean principles to reduce waste and enhance process efficiency in layout designs.
• Load Calculation & Structural Design:
• Expertise in load calculations for distribution and designing structural elements like columns, beams, and supports as needed.
• Safety Codes and Compliance:
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance in layout design.

Responsibilities:

• Review and understand the existing factory layout as a basis for new designs.
• Develop space-efficient layouts for the temporary factory within the initial 30-day period.
• Design a detailed, permanent layout within the following 30 days, optimizing for both functionality and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure that all designs meet safety and industry standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the layouts align with operational goals and production requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

Experience:

• 4-6 years in factory layout design, with a focus on efficient space utilization and regulatory compliance.
