Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks for all Medical Components, cables & wiring harness
• Develop cable routing using Solid Works
• Capability and experience of creating Model Definitions (MBD) is an added advantage
• Interact with Design team to understand design intent, form, fit and functional requirements
• Manage 3D models and 2D drawings in APLM and any other PDM/PLM system in use maintaining proper product configuration MBD - Model Based Definition
• Proficient in 3D Modelling, assembly and detailing using Solid Works packages & PLM, PDM.
• Migration of Legacy data to APLM environment in line with standard operating procedure (OP) and best practices. (BP)
• Review of all drawing / models before submission to customer
• Train offshore resources on all the requirements
• Manage Technical discussion and clarification with customers
• Coordinate with Offshore and customer on Tech Rationale document creation.
• Provide support on Project management, progress reviews and weekly update to customer
• Check RoHS compliance of parts

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Proficient in 3D Modelling, assembly and detailing using Solidworks packages & PLM, PDM.
• Legacy data to APLM environment in line with standard
• Capability on creation of 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks for all Medical Components, cables & wiring harness
• Manage 3D models and 2D drawings in APLM and any other PDM/PLM
• Knowledge on cables, wire harness, connectors and cable routing.
• Open Minded and logical thinking
• Can Do and Can Get it Done Attitude
• To interact with customer to understand the requirements.
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing and speaking skills in English Languages
• Proactive approach and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build and develop Customer & Supplier relationships
• Leadership and training skills to manage and develop the offshore team

Desired Skills:

• BE in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering
• 5 to 7 Years of working experience on Medical Domain or related organization.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process, CAD modelling & drafting & APLM
• In-depth understanding of cables, wire harness, connectors and cable routing.
