: Job Title Manual Tester with PSS domain

Years of Experience 8-10 years
6 to 10 years of work experience with Testing and Quality assurance management.

• Strong exposure to Amadeus ALTEA system.
• Good business knowledge in Airline Passenger Service System with testing experience in Booking, Fares, Revenue accounting, Check in, GDS, EMD, NDC, Proprietary API, Inventory, Ticketing and IBE(B2B and B2C).
• Collaborate with system users to understand the scope of project and elicit testing requirements directly by engaging in meetings and workshops with key stakeholders.
• Experience in setting up the PSS system with required business configurations for the customer for new and existing Implementations. Should have hands-on experience in specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for functional and system integration testing.
• Experience in integration testing with airlines in Interline, Codeshare, GDS, Payment Gateways, Revenue management and Interline through check-in.
• Experience in NDC and native API Integrations with airlines and OTAs as part of the Integration testing activities.
• Experience in test case review as part of the User Acceptance Testing and support to fix the issues generated as part of the customer UAT.
• Experience in facilitating customer support, by assisting the daily business operations of the airline and providing recommendations to improve the existing business model.
• Strong knowledge of Testing Methodologies associated with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in various types of testing like Functional Testing, System integration Testing, Regression Testing, Data Migration Testing, Web service Testing, Data warehouse testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Good Knowledge in handling SQL, Soap UI tools etc. to facilitate the configurations and implementations activities for an airline PSS system.
• Develop appropriate test scenarios, applying latest testing techniques in market.
• Ability to review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality.
• Executing test scenarios, analysing results, creating defect reports and participate in defect triage meetings with customer.
• Demonstrating products to technical and non-technical audiences, at executive and/or technical levels, and at pre- and post-sales meetings.
• Evolving the automation approach to regression testing.
• Experience in automation scripting and script execution is appreciated.
• Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with test personnel, users, developers, and clients to facilitate quick resolution of problems
• Good Knowledge in Version control and test management tools.

• Identifying end to end test scenarios to ensure maximum test coverage
• Provide inputs for test strategy preparation
• Define and publish key quality metrics for the system testing
• Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement system testing across project teams
• Prepare test data, perform test execution, and report defects
• Participate in defect triage meetings with customer
• Assist engineering management team and sales team in sales presentations
• Work closely with client leader in defining objectives for the team and take complete accountability of execution.
