:

• Test Planning and Design:

o Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the scope and requirements of the project.

• Test Execution:

o Execute test cases (manual) and report defects, bugs, errors, and inconsistencies. o Perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect existing functionality. o Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, usability, and acceptance testing.

• Defect Management:

o Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. o Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. o Work closely with the development team to resolve issues.

• Reporting:

o Provide detailed test reports and status updates to the QA Manager and project stakeholders. o Communicate findings and provide recommendations for improvements in a clear and concise manner.

• Collaboration and Communication:

o Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. o Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• TECHNICAL SKILLS:

o Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. o Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). o Understanding of various testing techniques and methods (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, automated testing is a plus). o Basic understanding of SQL and scripting.

• SOFT SKILLS:

o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.

• Knowledge of performance and/or security testing.

• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
