Job Description
• Create and design patterns based on fashion designers' sketches or specifications
• Use manual and computer-aided drafting methods to draw patterns
• Make adjustments and alterations to patterns as needed
• Work closely with designers and sample makers to ensure the accuracy of the final product
• Grade patterns to create a range of sizes for each design
• Ensure that patterns adhere to established production standards and guidelines
• Test and adjust patterns by creating test garments
• Document and maintain records of all created patterns
