Job Description

Minute Designs is looking for a meticulous Manual/Automation Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in both manual and automation testing, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Experience in testing React applications and APIs is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects and ensure they are resolved.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide testing feedback.
• Ensure test coverage and improve testing processes.
• Create and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Jest.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Test React applications and ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Report on testing progress and results, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing activities.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and best practices.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and processes.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and Jest.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Experience in testing React applications.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Proven track record of identifying and resolving software defects.
• Experience with scripting languages for test automation.
• Experience in testing React applications and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
