Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Manager to oversee the daily operations of JMR Stores. This role is crucial to maintaining operational efficiency, driving performance improvements, and ensuring our stores provide the highest standard of customer service. The Operating Manager will work closely with team members to develop and implement operational strategies, manage resources, and uphold JMR Stores' commitment to quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and optimise day-to-day operations across JMR Stores, including inventory management, staffing, and store presentation.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure consistency.
• Ensure each store meets quality standards in customer service, cleanliness, safety, and product availability.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, reduce waste, and ensure accurate stock replenishment.
• Lead, train, and mentor store managers and employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Analyse operational data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, implement solutions, and track progress.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance) to support promotions, store events, and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all locations.
• Handle escalated customer issues promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
• Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in retail management, with a focus on operations.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams and implementing policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with retail or inventory management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
