JD - Capital Market Advisory (CMA) Practice - ED / Director Our Capital Market Advisory (CMA) practice under the Deals platform is looking for a Director in Mumbai for Investor Relations. Job Summary The Director will work with listed clients on their Investor Relations strategy and assist in program managing their investor relations program. The candidate will also be expected to assist pre-IPO clients in formulating and executing their IPO strategy. The Director will assist the clients in growing shareholder value and help improve the client\'s perception through a superlative investor and shareholder outreach program. Qualification: CA, MBA (Finance / Business) or related field required. Required Skills/Abilities: . Exceptional verbal and written communication skills . Excellent interpersonal and networking skills in prior roles . Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text . Ability to analyze and interpret industry dynamics and financial information . Create consulting-style pitch books . Is well networked with capital market participants like mutual funds, foreign institutional investors and the stock broking houses . Proven experience or ability to program manage niche, Investor relations consulting engagements . Proven experience in managing at least small teams, mentoring and developing people . Nice to have experience - business development and having worked with CXO- level clients Experience: . 10+ years of on-the-job investor relations/management consulting/investment banking/Equity sales experience, dealing with investors and a strong track record delivery in prior roles. Candidates who have handled multiple clients and come reputed consulting firms will be preferred. . Strong understanding of SEBI laws and LODR . Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets . Intimately familiar withfinancial modelingtechniques andvaluation methodsused by analysts and investors . A strong understanding of the linkages between macroeconomics and the financial markets . A professional who is entrepreneurial, and has a deep client focus . Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and meet stringent deadlines . Willingness to travel to client locations . Business development experience will be an added advantage. Role & Responsibilities . Create the investor relations strategy and program manage the client\'s investor relations program. This includes providing points of view to the client leadership teams on IR strategy and execution. . Manage equity research and fund relationships . Present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business to client leadership teams . Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters . Oversee and assist in preparing press releases and investor presentations . Manage a team of managers, associates, and analysts . Business development activities like identifying prospective clients, pitching to them and winning in the market . This role is subject share trading restrictions and other compliance requirements.
