About the team:

Our team at True Energy, a Landis+Gyr company, offers a smart charging app to our end users so they can register their car or charger and have it start or stop charging based on the hour of day and the electricity price, so the user optimizes their charging to be cheapest.


About the role:


• As our React Native Lead Mobile Developer you will be responsible for leading a team of React Native engineers in the development of high-quality smart charging mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of React Native development, experience leading teams, and a passion for mobile development. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Leading a team of React Native engineers in the development of mobile applications
• Working with product managers to define requirements and design solutions
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers
• Ensuring that all code meets high standards of quality and performance
• Managing the team's schedule and resources
• Tracking progress and identifying risks
• Communicating with stakeholders and keeping them updated on the status of projects.






About you:


• To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Solid knowledge of coding React Native mobile apps
• Experience leading development teams of 3+ people
• Understanding of different testing levels & are comfortable creating unit tests for your mobile apps
• Experience with event-based communication with the backend, preferably using Socket.io
• Familiarity REST APIs & read OpenAPI / Swagger documentation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines & solutions for automatic deployments of mobile apps, preferably using tools like GitLab CI, Fastlane & AppCenter
