The role is for a Process Engineer in Ion-Plating department with expertise in Ion-Plating / PVD technologies. The role involves operating and maintaining Ion-Plating equipment, developing coating process recipes, troubleshooting, and performing FMEA. Additionally, the selected candidate will support the development processes to implement innovative technologies and coating processes for all watch components, with the aim of improving customer satisfaction, product quality, and meeting other business requirements.
Job Requirements
Education
M. Tech. in Thin Films / Material Science / Industrial Tribology with Thin Film Applications Or B.E/B.Tech (Materials Science/ Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering)
Relevant Experience
3-5 yrs. industrial experience
Technical Experience
Hands on experience on Vacuum Tech and Thin Film deposition (Especially Arc and Magnetron Sputtering) is required.
Hands on Experience on colour coatings is preferrable.
Experience in Metallurgy is preferred. ( Exposure to gold metallurgy will be an added advantage)
Knowledge
Knowledge on Materials characterization is required.
Knowledge on Tribology \xe2\x80\x93 Friction, Wear and corrosion Studies of coatings is preferred
