The Manager-IT Tech Operations will facilitate, manage and support cost effective technology services as well as on-boarding of new services into Production Operations for use by the business.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Production Operations group manage availability of all technology services used by the CTI business. The function of this role is to lead staff and be accountable for supply of services in the India time. This role will peer with two additional regional timezones leads who report to the Global Production Operations Manager. The goal is to deliver consistent services utilizing core ITIL processes, both leading staff and performing a mix of the following daily activities:

• Service Operations \xe2\x80\x93 Incident business impact assessment, problem and recurrence management
• Service Transition \xe2\x80\x93 Tracking production readiness through the project lifecycle (for allocated projects)
• Operational planning including delivering workable service models incorporating agreed SLA\xe2\x80\x99s, OLA\xe2\x80\x99s
• Change Management \xe2\x80\x93 Actively participate as a core change board member.
• Forward Change Planning \xe2\x80\x93 including conflict management.
• Service Reporting \xe2\x80\x93 Producing management information related service and staff performance for the team.

Key Capabilities:

• Operating Processes - Understanding of Operational Processes, including use of tools to log and diagnose incidents. Awareness of escalation processes \xe2\x80\x93 how and when incidents should be escalated to other teams or to management.
• Infrastructure Appreciation - A good level of understanding of IT infrastructure and how it supports the business.
• Technical Skills - A broad appreciation of technologies and challenges faced within CTI plus a good level of technical skills in the support tools used (ServiceNow).
• Business Appreciation \xe2\x80\x93 Ability to quickly understand the CTI business areas supported to enable impact assessment for major incidents.

Specific Experience - Previous experience leading within an IT Service Management or Service Operations role is essential, preferably in a mid to large financial organization.

Essential:

• Broad understanding of the ITIL framework (minimum ITIL Foundation certified).
• Exposure to a broad range of Infrastructure technologies including hosting, networking, storage etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Desirable:

• Data Analysis skills e.g. advanced Excel/Tableau/ServiceNow Reporting.
• ITIL intermediate (Service Transition, Operations or Delivery).
• Change or release management.
• Knowledge and use of ServiceNow.
