DESCRIPTION

DOSTA org provides testing support for Amazon Device Operating Systems. Primary objective DOSTA org is to provide manual and automation testing support.
Manager II, will manage a team of quality service associates, Test Specialists and may manage first level managers. They will be the point of contact for functional Quality Assurance (QA) Managers for clarifications and queries around project execution/work allocation. They will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects and stakeholder management. They will look at process optimization and implement improvements in quality / productivity. They will continuously raise the performance bar of the Quality Services organization and will be responsible for performance management of all the reporting associates and managers.

Key job responsibilities
1. Drive day-to-day operations (test execution delivery) including Task completion, Time Keeping, devices allocation, access provisioning, workplace protections, etc.
2. Collect and report data, metrics related to operations. Prepare review documents such as MBR, QBR etc. for leadership review and drive process improvements.
3. Identify mechanisms to mitigate staffing related contingencies arising from employment laws such as work authorization, suspension, termination etc.
4. Define time keeping process, onboard accrual balances and payroll processing tools.
5. Build infrastructures such as seats, labs, procurement of devices, other assets.
6. Integrate, normalize DOSTA team culture to facilitate a consistent productivity and quality bar.
7. Hire, Develop, Manage performance and Promote.
8. Make appropriate trade-off decisions about resource utilization across the projects , based on criticality and timelines. You help your team prioritize deliverables, stay connected and resolve any blocks.
9. Identify risks, call out gaps, and proactively deploy mitigation plans.
10. Partner effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders, review device release road map and design the right DA workforce strategy to meet long-term objectives. Determine/Create/Maintain a lab infrastructure and proficient staffing needed to address changing priorities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A graduate in any field of study. Quantitative fields such as science and engineering preferred but not mandatory.
• This role needs extensive experience in managing People and Testing.
• Experience creating and implementing process improvement strategies.
• Very good stakeholder management and communication management

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in software testing and managing testing projects.
• Strong judgment and instincts and able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing first level managers.
