Job Description
DESCRIPTION
- Lead transportation planning basis requirements from FC/SC/LM stakeholders and work with 3P carriers to develop effective operational plan
- Execute daily operations in the form of route monitoring, carrier & vendor outreach, and problem solving for a rapidly growing network.
- Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Vendors, Carriers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Delivery Stations, Sort Centers)
- Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon\'s transportation operations.
- Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements are met.
- Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data
- Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
\xc2\xb7 Participating in network level discussions and pick up themes/projects to implement at region to drive safety, cost and process improvements.
\xc2\xb7 Planning and scale up of capacities for peak sale events by working with central team and multiple carriers
\xc2\xb7 Leading and supporting initiatives on network speed, reliability and expansion by collaborating with central stakeholders
\xc2\xb7 Managing continuous improvement projects related to cost and efficiency
\xc2\xb7 Creation and management of line haul schedule on a weekly/monthly basis managing contingencies.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Thane, MH, INDBASIC QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of work experience in supply chain, logistics or related domainPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExcellent stakeholders communication and engagement
