Responsibilities: I. Organizational Context As the Senior Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Government Liaison for Karnataka, will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with the State Government and other relevant state bodies as required. II. Functions / Key Results ExpectedKey Responsibilities: The Senior Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Government Liaison will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including: Liasioning with Government offices and corporations: Engaging with various government entities such as BBMP, BDA, BWSSB, KIADB, BMRDA, BMIC, KPTCL, and more to facilitate smooth communication, collaboration and necessary approvals. Grant of land acquisition: Identifying and obtaining land grants from government authorities across India. Clearing dues and pending files: Ensuring the timely clearance of pending dues from the Government and corporations. Building strong relationships: Establishing and nurturing fruitful connections with government officials, bureaucrats, government officers, and politicians. Sanction for ISKCON and other trust-related setups: Securing necessary sanctions for setting up kitchens and other supplies related to ISKCON Bangalore and other affiliated trusts. TAPF midday meal sanctions: Obtaining approvals for setting up kitchens and other supplies related to TAPF midday meal initiatives. Willingness to travel: Being prepared to travel extensively across locations as and when required. Additional duties: Undertaking any other assigned tasks by the Head of the Department. III. Proposals and Policy AffairsGovernment communication: Handling all government-related communications, including proposals, letters, and other documents. Policy understanding and collaboration: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of government policies and working closely with the Government to align with their objectives. IV. Relationship BuildingCultivating strong contacts: Developing and maintaining contacts with government officials, bureaucrats, government officers, and politicians. Facilitating meetings and engagements: Scheduling regular meetings with bureaucrats and politicians, sharing annual reports, providing information about Akshaya Patra and related materials, and extending invitations to visit the temple and Akshaya Patra Kitchen.
