•We are inviting applications for the role of Manager-Data Scientist•

•In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research. We will rely on you to build data products to extract valuable business insights.•

•Your goal will be to help our clients analyze trends to make better decisions.•

•Responsibilities•

• •Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.•
• •Perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.•
• •Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis.•
• •Analyze and interpret complex datasets to discover underlying trends and patterns that are relevant for solving business problems. Select features and perform proper data transformation to optimize datasets for building the models.•
• •Enable smarter business processes by using analytics for meaningful insights.•

•Required Skills•

•Python, AWS Sage Maker•

• •Experience in statistical programming languages like Python, AWS Sage Maker•

•o Experienced on procedural programming in Python including core concepts and data structures.•

•o Experienced on packages like Numpy and Pandas.•

•o Experienced on core data science packages like Statsmodel, Scikit-Learn, Scipy, etc.•

•o Good to have: Object Oriented Programming in Python.•

• •Strong working knowledge in MSOffice tools - PowerPoint, Excel, Word•

•Statistics:•

•o Provide descriptive summaries of database files, including frequencies, lists, and plots; examine data to track down potential data inconsistencies.•

•o Provide statistical support; this includes meta-analysis, multivariate analysis, use of graphical and support for hypothesis•

•o Machine Learning - Good knowledge of predictive models and machine-learning algorithms. Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques•

•o Data Wrangling - Proficiency in handling imperfections in data Minimum Qualifications•

• •MSc in applied mathematics or statistics or Econometrics•
• •Good years of industry experience•
• •Experience with statistical or mathematical software.•
•Preferred Qualifications •Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills•
• •Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively and concisely present key findings to senior management/ Client is a must•
• •Proficient in writing algorithms and knowing when to apply them.•
• •Excellent understanding of statistics, multivariable calculus, and linear algebra•
