Business Excellence Manager - Decarbonization Driving excellence for decarbonization business unit. This is achieved through day-to-day contact with the management team as well as engagement with other stakeholders both internally and externally. This role will drive the deployment of business improvement strategy into team and individual targets, drive improvement in all activities and encourage the acquisition, sharing and implementation of best practice. The role will report directly to the Head of decarbonization business unit. What are my responsibilities? Program management office for decarbonization business unit to drive following topics -
Strategy and business plan - Coordination of the business strategy process, including facilitation of annual strategy review and support for strategic goal owners to develop and communicate their actions.
Coordinate with country strategy for topics related to annual business targets, market analysis, ESG topics, sustainability dashboards, etc.
Process Improvement - Driving process improvement throughout the business and facilitating change management workshops.
Productivity - Drive productivity and identify improvement opportunities supported by tangible output measures; drive cost savings and/or operational efficiency and ensure full reporting via relevant tools.
Technical understanding and appreciation for decarbonization technologies. Provide overall market insights on the development of decarbonization technologies.
Business Excellence Community - Ensure best practices are shared and bring best practice from other organizations into decarbonization group.
Other -Provide support for other business activities as requested.
The above are broad elements of the role; and the expectation is to do whatever is needed to help run a successful growing business and keep key stakeholders updated. What do I need to qualify for the role?
Educated to Degree or MBA standard, or, equivalent with an experience in Business Development.
Highly effective communication and collaboration skills are required.
Fully developed facilitation skills, experienced in leading group discussions and workshops at both operational and senior management levels.
Experienced in structuring, leading and supporting change management projects.
Advanced competency required in the use of MS Office applications.
The ability to capture and format accurate information/data for the production of reports for management is essential. Knowledge of database creation and analysis would be an advantage.
Detailed knowledge of process improvement techniques
Project planning & management skills.
Familiarity with financial and commercial aspects within business is necessary.
Some subject matter will require a significant degree of integrity to preserve confidentiality.
