It provides support to various business groups and the job involves data analysis, model and strategy development & implementation, Business Intelligence, reporting and data management The Opportunity: DAO Function and focus areas: The execution and communication of Group Data Strategy & Group Data vision within LOB Representing the LOB at the relevant data governance forums, committees. Ensures data is managed consistently and in a controlled manner for various business requirements which is used by different functions. Defines, documents and establishes guidelines to manage critical data elements consistently. Support DPOs with responses to data protection enquiries and in reviewing Privacy impact assessments. Defines principles for identification, use, and documentation for sourcing of data. Defines the principles that must be followed for the design, definition and implementation of data models. Track the usability of external data and continuously check for the opportunity for optimizing the cost. Delivering periodic global data quality scores through extraction, preparation and processing customer, connected party, CARM, Account-Product level data from multiple data sources. Managing Data quality issues raised globally across teams, processes & functions What you\'ll do: Good understand about the Data Management Framework and able to relate to all verticals (Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Privacy, Data Security, Data Ethics etc.) within Data Management Charter. Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables with comprehensive policies and processes. Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls. Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities. Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements have the applicable governance applied. Ensure that all of the tasks required to enable a critical data element to be confirmed as having full governance completed. Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners. Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements. Ensuring that the stakeholders have access to complete and accurate information to support decision making. Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection. Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Experience in managing data / analytics deliverables and teams or a Consulting experience in the data/ analytics space. Strong organizational skills. Overall experience of 5+ years in in Banking/ Financial Services Strong Driving & Navigational skills. Proven track record of mobilizing the right resources and delivering the outcomes in a matrix structure/ organization. A very strong track record of ownership and accountability will be key to the success of this role. Good Knowledge about Meta Data Management. Good concepts about Data Lineages, Data Dictionary, Business Glossary etc. Experience of working in an Agile framework, JIRA, Confluence, Collibra. Highly effective in narrating the analytical output to stake holders, draw agreement on business actions or formulate impactful strategies.
