• MUFG Bank (MUBK) is strengthening its global operations to deploy stable and competitive operations globally. MUBKs global direction is to accelerate Standardization, Centralization and Automation. MUBK is enhancing the Regional function of operations to accelerate the global direction in MUBK APAC branches excluding Mainland China and Japan.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Accelerate MUBKs global direction and strengthen the operations in APAC, including improvement of operation quality (Accuracy, Stability and Productivity) and develop solutions for improvement to streamline the existing work procedures/processes in branches.
• Build a competitive operations framework especially for supporting the Regional Operations team to promote digital transformation and regional system implementation.
• Contribute to MUFG business by actively collaborating with local branches, other division in Head Office in Tokyo, regional team in Asia region and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business user requirements of Branch Operation teams in APAC and recommend strategy and road map to Regional Operations Office for standardization and automation.
• Closely work with Regional Operations team to create a road map for regional system implementation.
• Good SME in Operations area to identify opportunities, prioritization of initiatives and create backlog.
• Strong hands-on data management and presentation to the management on a regular basis.
• Managing stakeholders at Branch, Region and Head Office effectively communicating and co- ordinating well for all stages including requirement gathering, prioritization, budget discussions etc.
• Effectively communicating insights and plans to Regional Operations team, cross-functional team including management.
• Monitor and control system implementation during multiple project phases from Business side.
• Maintain project related data repository and prepare business process documentation.
• Monitor System Investment budget tasks such as budget securing, monitoring, project prioritizing, budget controlling, and coordination with related Divisions in MUFG.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings and status update on a regular basis.
• Follow up with the stakeholder and ensure planned timelines are met.

Expertise / knowledge required

• Having equivalent experience of [8+] years.
• University graduate in business or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate and coordinate across all levels of business.
• Strong technical background with a good understanding of current technology trends and best practices.
• Good experience with Word, Excel, MS Project & PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge in the area of requirements definition and software development lifecycle methodology (Agile /Waterfall).
• Individual should be self-motivated and flexible.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to collaborate, multi-task, prioritize and meet timelines.
• Understanding of CBS products (Loans, Treasury, Derivative, Deposits, Funds Transfer, Export / Import, Accounting / Information, Common Function)
