S/he will build a culture of continuous improvement and will work closely with the business leaders and executive leadership team.We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Atlassian tools focused Architecture & Delivery team and drive the design, implementation and optimization of Atlassian Products including but not limited to JIRA, Service Management, DevOps etc. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise and a deep understanding of Atlassian products.Position Requirements:Skills & CompetenciesStrategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the team, defining goals, objectives, and priorities aligned with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategies to drive the adoption of Atlassian tools across the organization.Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of Atlassian tools engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.Atlassian Jira Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Atlassian products, providing guidance and best practices for their implementation, configuration, and integration within organization ecosystem. Ensure that Atlassian tools are effectively utilized to support software development and delivery processes.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the team and across the organization. Implement best practices, automation techniques, and Atlassian Jira workflows to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality of software delivery.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand their requirements, priorities, and challenges. Collaborate with business leaders, development teams, and IT operations to align Atlassian focused initiatives with business objectives and drive positive outcomes.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance on Atlassian technologies, methodologies, and best practices. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our strategy and roadmap.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Atlassian and other technology vendors, including licensing, support agreements, and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with vendors to leverage their expertise and resources in driving the success of our initiatives.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of Atlassian processes and tools. Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organization. Encourage experimentation, innovation, and knowledge sharing to drive ongoing optimization and excellence in practices.Jira Configuration and Customization: Set up and configure Jira projects, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications. Customize Jira schemes (workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, etc.) as per requirements. Manage Jira add-ons and plugins to enhance functionality.User Support and Training: Provide support to users and troubleshoot Jira issues. Develop and conduct user training sessions and documentation. Serve as the primary point of contact for Jira-related queries and issues.Maintenance and Optimization: Perform regular system maintenance, including upgrades and performance tuning. Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation. Implement best practices for Jira usage and maintenance.Integration and Automation: Integrate Jira with other tools (Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, etc.) to streamline workflows. Develop and manage automation rules to optimize processes using Jira Automation.Reporting and Analytics: Create and manage Jira dashboards and reports to provide insights to teams and management. Utilize Jira Query Language (JQL) to create custom filters and reports.Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of the Jira instance, including managing user access and permissions.Technical Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.More than 10 years of experience and in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Atlassian products, including Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Bamboo.
