Job Description


This role ensures audit quality and compliance by reviewing engagement team's work papers, financial statements, and audit procedures in line with PCAOB standards. It involves managing stakeholder interactions, mentoring professionals, and driving audit quality improvement initiatives while supporting US-based engagements.

  • Conduct initial reviews of engagement team's work papers and documentation for specific audit areas in accordance with PCAOB auditing standards and related regulations.
  • Assist in reviewing accounting process procedures, including walkthroughs, flowcharts, controls, and substantive audit responses.
  • Review financial statements and communicate with engagement teams to gather necessary information.
  • Summarize review results and present findings to EQCR team members and engagement teams.
  • Drive EQCR-specific work plans, ensuring alignment with engagement due dates and coordinating with the engagement team.
  • Interact with multiple stakeholders, including engagement teams, EQCR team members, and senior management.
  • Stay updated on PCAOB standards, firm methodologies, and relevant audit developments.
  • Contribute to audit quality improvement initiatives and support the evolution of the EQCR Center.
Drive audit quality and compliance in high-impact US engagements.Lead and mentor professionals in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active membership/license.
  • 8-11 years of post-qualification experience in integrated audits under PCAOB standards, preferably in a client-facing role.
  • Strong knowledge of PCAOB auditing standards, SEC regulations, and US GAAP.
  • Experience in audit quality initiatives and monitoring programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple engagements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss complex auditing issues confidently.
  • Supervisory experience to mentor and guide professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
