The focus of this project is to build robust, accountable and sustainable institutions of child protection, as a means to ensure access to justice and the overall implementation of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 and the corresponding rules. KRA: Ensure identification, rescue follow up child/ bonded labourers Planning and designing the Programme and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate. Annual, quarterly and Monthly MIS Preparation of project proposal Planning and Budgeting Organizational Role: 1. Assist in developing plans so as to achieve the organization s annual targets and in developing strategies and generating resources. 2. To Prepare: a. Annual, quarterly and Monthly MIS, b. Preparation of project proposal, c. Planning and Budgeting, d. Development of publications 3. Prepare a 3 monthly calendar of possible raid rescue related operations, rehabilitation. On the basis of this, weekly plan should be made. Programme Management: To develop and monitor the performance indicators and action plan of activities related to raid and rescue and victims assistance as per the approved action plan and gnatt chart. To ensure a MIS report (monthly) for monitoring of the concerned programme. Collect specific information regarding child Labour and their Masters and organize raid/rescue operations. Supervise the maintenance of the victim assistance database including production of financial reports and associates assignment reports and tracking of pledges through database management. To coordinate with Volunteer Management for the best utilisation of the volunteers relating to your concerned projects. To ensure timely reporting of ongoing projects relating to Victim Assistance. To develop atleast one document on concerned projects highlighting the good practices in their intervention strategy. Overall responsibility of coordination, reporting and communication between all ongoing projects. Developing strategic plans for the same in such a way that there is periodic exchange of information between all projects. Communicating and coordinating with all associates of the concerned projects (Victim Assistance) throughout the country and developing their reports. Planning organisation events that will contribute towards achievement of strategic goals. Ensuring the effective implementation of all concerned projects and timely communication of the same to all relevant partners. Facilitate the evaluation of projects through external agencies as per requirements. Collect share information, which requires legal interventions with other departments. Undertake field visits for monitoring and evaluation of project activities Follow up of the rehabilitation of released bonded child labourers with concrete details on monthly basis. Arrangement for repatriation of the released child/bonded laborers and their proper rehabilitation. Fund Raising: To provide strategic leadership and develop and implement strategies to identify and incorporate new donors in the campaign to enlarge the donor base and participate in an integrated planning process that will incorporate all streams of fund raising. Developing new project proposals, concept notes and other documents for resource mobilisation on the concerned progrmmes and activities of projects. To look for opportunities of funding and coordinate with the resource mobilisation team for the concerned projects. Responsible for liaison with funders, including building and maintaining relationships, identifying new funds, and accounting. Responsible for ensuring the growth of activities and programs and raise funds for the same. Financial Management: Manage financial control, prepare and analyze budgets, develop financial reports, and make recommendations to the organization on budget expenditures of the concerned projects. Approving the bills and the requirements of all procurements and purchases for the concerned projects and activities. Making the Monthly Action Plan for activities including the budgetary allocation as per the project budget. Managing the Programmes budget , monitoring the expenditures and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the Programme progresses Analyzing the expense with the activity output of the staff on the monthly basis. HR Management: Finalise the Action Plans for concerned project associate and their monitoring for effective results. Ensuring the effective implementation of all management decisions and current policies of AVA including the HR Manual, the Financial Manual, the Gender Policy, the Child Protection Policy, etc of staff relating to the concerned projects. Recruit, supervise the concerned staff and ensure that individual goals are achieved. Competencies for the role: Functional knowledge: Understanding of the areas of work the organization works in (child rights) Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners Problem Solving: Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability Teamwork: Developing and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals Self-driven: Consistently maintain high levels of activity or productivity and operate with vigor, effectiveness and determination over extended periods of time Education: A graduate or post graduate in management, social work, public health or social sciences from any recognized university Experience Exposure: 10 years above of relevant experience of working in development sector in the field of child rights. Experience and passion for Child rights Skill: Ability to drive to action - can make things happen Strong interpersonal skills and public relation skills.
