We are looking for an McDonalds in India Org Activation Support who will report to the McDonalds in India Org Activation Lead. The Org Activation Support will assist in managing transition and change management activities at the McDonalds India in Hyderabad, supporting day 1 readiness and organizational transformation efforts. This role will involve workforce transition, communication, learning, and organizational support, collaborating closely with teams to implement strategies that help the center achieve its operational and strategic objectives.While no two days are likely to be the same, you typical responsibilities will include:

  • Support day 1 readiness by coordinating the hiring and onboarding of employees, ensuring all processes are executed smoothly.
  • Assist in translating functional modernization deployment plans into actionable tasks for people readiness, including training, staffing, and other HR activities.
  • Coordinate training and learning programs for McDonalds in India employees, helping to address development needs, knowledge transfer (KT), and upskilling requirements.
  • Monitor people readiness during each transformation wave, assisting with interventions to address readiness gaps and support employees.
  • Facilitate change management activities, such as communication plans, learning initiatives, and organizational design efforts to align with transformation goals.
  • Help drive communication efforts to keep employees informed about transition-related updates, fostering a culture of openness.
  • Assist with organizational design activities, working with stakeholders to support the implementation of new structures and processes.
  • Track transition progress and provide support in delivering regular updates to leadership, helping to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to support the integration of people strategies and ensure a seamless transition for all employees.
Who were looking for:
  • 5-8 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or HR support within large organizations.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. Certifications in change management (e.g., PROSCI, PMP, SHRM) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with organizational design, change management, and onboarding processes.
  • Experience supporting workforce transition projects and day 1 readiness activities for large-scale transformations.
  • Strong skills in project coordination, training program support, and communication.
  • Interpersonal skills to assist in driving change and supporting teams during transitions.
  • Ability to simplify complex tasks and support communication to diverse audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of the McDonalds business model and shared services environment.
