What does a successful Manager, Technical Professional Services do at Fiserv?
The Manager is responsible for overall Program Management, People Management, Risk Management of core banking application implementation team This is a full-time position with career growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package.
What you will do
• Applies standard project management principles including the creation and maintenance of project plans and managing project tasks and resource collaboration as they apply to each implementation.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
• Must take complete ownership of the technical delivery the assigned portfolio/program
• Manages multiple clients and adhere to project timelines.
• Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions in accordance with stated procedure.
• Utilizes system and data to resolve business issues in the most effective manner.
• Analyzes and identifies root cause; providing input to solutions that lead to success of the project.
• Maintain the tools used to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the conversion process (system studies, timelines, and questionnaires).
• Work in late night shift (up to 11 PM IST) to provide overlap with US working hours.
• Provide post implementation support for 2 weeks. (US shift - timing will depend on time zone of client)
What you will need to have
• B.Tech/MCA
• 10 to 15 years of experience in IT Industry preferably in Banking application implementation
• Experienced problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
What would be great to have
• Experience supporting Banking Core Conversions.
• Experience on Account Processing core is a plus.
• Exposure to Banking and Financial Services industry with a good understanding of Banking Products, Services & Procedures.
• Strong analytical skills, good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
