Vestas Quality SQD Quality Supplier Quality & Development APAC SEA & ANZ This position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Vestas APAC region, which coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety, and environment when developing and implementing the different category strategies while not compromising on Vestas\'s standards and processes. The key task is to deploy strategic and operational development of key suppliers in South East Asia, Australia & New Zealand region by performing audits, supplier assessments, and leading QSE improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents, and reduce the number of non-conformities. Responsibilities Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety, and Environment Strategy towards Direct material suppliers Supervise the team of SQEs for various commodities to ensure the Supplier life cycle management is in compliance with regional & global strategy Promote new market entry strategy & new supplier onboarding ensuring Vesta\'s processes are followed Coordinate QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vesta\'s requirements. Drive Supplier Business Review Meetings with cross-functional participation Ensure that relevant SQM agreements with suppliers are in place Lead and conducted supplier development projects and supplier local initiatives conducted QHSE audits and presented executive reports Qualifications Master\'s/ Bachelor\'s in Management / Similar specialization 5+ years in team management with similar positions in supplier management, safety & quality focus 10+ years in Supplier Quality or Quality management area Experience with supplier management and driving improvement projects on quality, process, and safety areas Experience in Oil & gas / Heavy industries / Defence / Aerospace / Heavy Automotive is needed Certified for APQP / Lean Six Sigma black belt is good to have Certified auditor/lead auditor ISO, other standards, and relevant quality-safety certifications is good to have Competencies People management Good project management skills with the ability to deliver complex development projects across the organization Competency in data analytics and high problem-solving skills Good communication skills, oral and written, strong meeting facilitator with the ability to work effectively -with diverse stakeholders within an international, dynamic & cross-functional environment motivated personality, independent learning & critical thinking skills - the ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems Fluency in English What We Offer Life at Vestas is many things - exciting, rewarding, and fun.
