Align Strategic accounts with Alcons Vision/Strategic plans to create long-term Business partnerships.
Work closely with Alcon functions, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Tech service, Clinical application, Medical affairs, Market access, Phaco/VR development and Practice development, to plan, coordinate and implement activities directed towards the target strategic customer groups.
Propose and guide account based key brand promotional projects/campaigns (e.g. mailing drives, advertising/promotional campaigns, briefing documents for sales force representatives, etc.) with relevant approvals.
Develop proposals for communication strategy for key strategic accounts that increases sales in given segment, market shares in units and value.
Responsible for successful launch of new products & all future upgrades/ improvements for key strategic accounts in coordination with respective brand managers and sales teams.
Conceptualize, monitor and follow-through on account-based SOV activities (Congress, P 2 P meetings, RTDs, center visits and other customer engagement programs).
KOL identification, development and management by working closely with the sales team.
Understand customer insights about product, market & competition activities through customer meetings, in close coordination with sales teams.
Recommend promotional objectives basis segmentation of customers and segment specific activities in order to maximize sales force efficiency in translating the product strategy to Strategic key accounts.
Help achieve the market share objectives and sales mix for the focused brands.
Provide feedback to Marketing/Sales Leadership through regular communication on information related to activities, results and opportunities.
Involvement in pricing, schemes & profitability of various brands for the specified strategic accounts.
Develop and participate in sales planning in line with departmental and company objectives.
Evaluate success of selected activities qualitatively (customer / sales rep. comments) or quantitatively (market research data, etc.) and benchmark Alcons performance versus key competitors.
Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
University graduate in Pharmacy, Science or Business
MBA or post-graduation degree in Marketing, Economics or Medical Related Sciences especially, ophthalmology preferred.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
At least 10+ years of experience as Pharmaceutical/ Medical Devices Sales Representative (Sales Force) experience.
Overall, 4+ years of experience related to key account management and/or brand Management experience in any medical device organization.
