Job Context & Challenges:

• Developing good quality & options of vendor from different sources like available database, other colleagues, stake-holders, industry & various websites, journals etc.
• Analyzing stake-holders\' requirement, using competent options of vendors, usage of sourcing tools like 7-step Sourcing, e-tools like Reverse Auction/eRFQ/eRFI to obtain optimal costs for required quality, quantity as per allocation, packaging and other criteria required.
• Conduct Sourcing and decide option of vendor/s for the required product or/and service, follow-up for timely production & delivery within shortest time-frame possible bringing in value-savings & value-adds to achieve IO of FTG & Cost-Avoidance per determined goals for each year.
• Identify & resolve problems for product/service delivery. Interface with other departments to drive efficiency.
• Early involvement to bring in more efficiency and cost savings.

Key Accountabilities:

Sourcing Vendors for handled categories/sub-categories :

• Identify competent vendors :

Usage of IP tools :

• 7-step Sourcing
• e-tools like ReverseAuction/eRFQ/eRFI to obtain optimal costs for required quality, quantity as per allocation, packaging and other criteria required
• Conduct Sourcing and decide option of vendor/s for the required product or/and service
• ensure efficient/complete usage of e-BUY

Follow-up for Production, product/service delivery :

Follow-up for timely production & delivery within shortest time- frame possible. Identify & resolve problems for product/service delivery Interface with other departments to drive efficiency.

Funding The Growth :

Early involvement with stake-holders to bring in:

• Effectiveness & efficiency
• value savings
• value-adds to achieve IO of FTG
• Cost-Avoidance per determined goals for each year

Overall - to manage stakeholders\' requirements to achieve through the best sourcing strategy

Experience:

Essential: At least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics/ Procurement with understanding of product Supply. Good experience in project procurement / Plant setup. Good team player and keen learner.

Desirable: Experience in Sourcing & Negotiations for various categories/sub-categories of Indirect Materials / Plant investment &services,, project procurement
