WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO:
provides technical Duck Creek Claims product support within Solution Consulting\xe2\x80\x99s Solution Development team to develop product enhancements that promote higher value to Sales prospects. The Solution Engineer position has special skills and experience in technical writing discipline, including documenting all aspects of new development project deliverables, technical capabilities of enhancements, user guides, technical architecture, integration approaches, security, database, configuration, hardware/software requirements, and testing/QA processes. The Solution Engineer may manage other resources in the delivery of key projects.

• Designs the software configuration and content to meet the business process design and application requirements.
• Responsible for creating documentation and manuals in support of an agile delivery team. Brings a technical writing strategy, principles and process into the project team and proposes ways for the team\xe2\x80\x99s improvement.
• Tries to understand the business, technical, and user needs in order to translate those needs into meaningful documentation for the intended audience, while adhering to style guides and quality assurance standards.
• May manage other resources in delivery of projects
• WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99VE DONE:
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related degree/similar program or an additional 4 years of work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as technology architect, sales engineer, or developer in software development team or software/content implementation team
• 3 years of experience in Insurance technology
• Should have experience with implementation of Duck Creek Claims
• At least 1 year in customer-facing role and/or experience
• Automated Testing tools experience
• Experience with metadata driven configuration tools preferred.
• Ability and experience performing analytical or quantitative activities in spreadsheet/database types of software applications.
• Preferred experience in HTML, ASP, and XML
• Experience in Agile methodology, Software documentation, Duck Creek Technical Communications playbook and Property and Casualty Insurance industry
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to solve increasingly complex business problems and implement solutions.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with decisions regularly impacting own work as well as work of others.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.
